How to install Mintsifry certificates on iOS?

Installing certificates on Apple devices consists of two stages: downloading the profile and activating it in the settings.

Step 1. Download the files:

  • Open the "Gosuslugi: Mintsifry Certificates" page via the Safari browser;
  • Download the root (Russian Trusted Root CA) and intermediate (Russian Trusted Sub CA) certificates. The device will prompt you to download a profile — tap "Allow".

Step 2. Install the profile:

  • Open "Settings" on your iPhone or iPad;
  • Go to "General" -> "VPN & Device Management" (or "Profiles");
  • In the "Downloaded Profile" section, select the downloaded certificate and tap "Install" (in the top right corner);
  • Enter your device passcode/password and confirm the installation.

Step 3. Enable full trust (important!):

  • Go to "Settings" -> "General" -> "About" -> "Certificate Trust Settings";
  • Toggle the switch next to the "Russian Trusted Root CA" certificate;
  • Repeat the steps for the intermediate certificates if necessary.
